‘Mozart’
Made from reclaimed cutlery, this beautiful stainless steel bird features a classic design by noted American manufacturer, Oneida.
The elegant pattern decorating the tail, wings and eye pieces come from the Oneida Deluxe range, known as 'Mozart' they give the bird its' name.
The cutlery is joined and blended together using both MIG and TIG welders. Other tools include angle and die grinders, a Dremel, various polishing wheels and a blow torch, not to mention numerous purpose built jigs and hand tools.
It is made from the following items:
Material: Stainless Steel
2 Teaspoons, 1 Grapefruit Spoons, 2 Forks, 2 Dessert Spoons
2 Ball Bearings, 4 Patterned Handles, Welding rod
Approximate weight (boxed): 375 grams
Approximate size (each): 180mm x 150mm x 80mm
This highly ornate bird is my ‘signature piece’ in many respects.
Decorated with beautiful and classic vintage patterns from noted flatware designers, their rarity and flamboyance makes these birds just that bit more special, almost like little pieces of jewellery I think.
Embossed satin lined presentation boxes make them a wonderful and unique gift. They are released in limited numbers according to individual design & availability.
